Anti-EpCAM Antibody-FITC
Background Information
EpCAM (CD326), also known as tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 1 (TACSTD1) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of 39-42 kDa, consisting of 314 amino acids. encoded by the TACSTD1 gene on the long arm of chromosome 2p21. It was originally identified as a dominant cell surface antigen on human colon carcinoma. EpCAM is expressed on the basolateral membrane of all simple, pseudo-stratified, and transitional epithelia. BMI-EPCAMAb35-FITC demonstrates superior staining quality with high specificity, requires less dosage to achieve same staining results, is more economical for the users.
